WHAT IS A CAPSULE WARDROBE
A capsule wardrobe is a timeless collection of essential classic pieces in your wardrobe that give structure to your style and can be mixed and matched. Every capsule collection is unique and consists between 30-40 pieces that lay the foundation of your wardrobe for that specific season.
Capsule Style Tips
- You do not need to go out and purchase all new pieces. Go through your closet, identify the foundational pieces in the capsule. Keep the items that are well kept and only purchase what you need.
- Buy quality items. Capsule Wardrobes are meant to stand the test of time. I only link items that are at a outstanding price point per the quality. I recommend investing high quality material like cashmere and leather bags so they can be worn for many years to come.
- Add in elements of your own personal style. For example, I do not include a ton of accessories as these elements can be personalized to your taste.
CHUNKY OVERSIZED SWEATER:
An oversized chunky neutral color sweater is a timeless wardrobe essential. Invest in a cashmere, alpaca blend or a soft wool blend material sweater that will make wearing it a pleasurable experience, uphold over time and has a flattering drape.
SHORT SLEEVE TEE:
Finding a quality and flattering white t-shirt has always been a challenge for me. Either they are too long or too short, the shoulders too wide or too narrow and the sleeves are either too tight around my arm or too loose. Do you every have this problem? When shopping for a t-shirt, I look for one that fits correctly, has soft quality cotton, a crewneck and washes well.
